Fitting In!!!

We’re like scattered pieces of a puzzle,

Trying to fit where we don’t belong.

We’re asked to take shapes that don’t feel right,

And follow beliefs that hold us back.

We’re asked to blend into spaces,

Which were never meant for us.

And pushed to exceed our limits,

Leaving us lost in the dust.

Why can’t we simply be ourselves?

Why can’t we find comfort,

In our uniqueness,

In creating forms that are our own,

Follows beliefs that resonate with us,

And choose corners of softness that we can claim as home?

Why must we always bend, break,

Or hide parts of who we are,

To fit someone else's idea of what we should be?

The truth is,

We don’t need to fit in the puzzle; we need to make our own.

We are whole, just as we are.

Imperfect, messy, and unapologetically real.
